Dear Mr. Peters:
I am an LVN here at Park View. I’m writing to you because I am concerned about
a safety issue.
Sometimes I work the evening shift, and when I go home, it is dark. In my
opinion, the parking garage does not have enough lighting. I don’t always feel
safe there. I think that we need better lighting. In particular, I believe we need
more lighting near the elevators and at the exits and entrances. There are enough
lights above the cars. However, they are not very bright. Therefore, I think these
should be replaced with brighter lights.
I really feel that the hospital should install better lighting before winter, when it
gets dark earlier. Better lighting will help make a lot of workers like me feel safer.
Thanks very much for considering this.
Sincerely,
Susan Kim
