WHEN TO GO
The summer months are hot and humid, and the winters
are cold. It is the rainy season from mid-June to mid-July,
but it doesn’t rain every day, so travel is still possible. The
best times to visit are in the spring (April, May), when
the cherry blossom is out, or the autumn (October,
November), when there are fewer tourists.

the variety of foods on display.

try the local sweets and also a cup of thick
matcha
